Autumn Metamorphosis

The inspiration for this piece came from the way leaves from the trees all around us start to “morph” their way into the fall colours and ultimately into their own demise. I chose to represent that change with geometric hexagons, varying little in size and colour, gradually offering more difference in size, hue, and texture as the viewer’s eye scans down the piece.
